PIPE CUTTING AND BEVELING MACHINE

This pipe cutting and beveling machine is exclusively designed to handle pipe cutting and pipe beveling operation with pipe end profile cutting capability, for making pipe joints, on various diameters of pipes and with different wall thickness. The machine is movable and can be moved to any convenient location.

This orbital pipe cutting and beveling machine can be either operated as a standalone machine on its base or as a portable machine by separating the cutting unit from the base. If it is used as a portable machine, then it can be fitted on the pipe OD to any of the pipes in the range using chain clamps.

There are two set of V Block chucks are available in this 3D pipe cutting machine one in front and one in back to keep and lock the pipes in position and in concentric to the machine axis.

These V Block chucks can hold pipes from dia 0.5 inch to dia 10 inch and can be operated through a handle provided at side. The smallest pipe length that can be hold using front set of V block chuck is around 170mm and with using two sets of V block chucks, it is around 400mm. Smaller length pipes of length less than 500mm can be hold using front set of V Block chucks only.

Harrys(Poland) make Oxy-Acetylene gas cutting torch, mounted in this orbital pipe beveling machine make it more versatile and cutting is accomplished with perfect straightness and smooth. Very minimal post cutting grinding is necessary to remove the scales or to make the bevel surface carbon free for radiographic quality weld joints.

This orbital pipe cutting machine is fitted with a front rack system coupled with an adjusting pinion provides a convenient means to adjust the torch to a correct position before cutting. After adjustments are made, the torch can be held tightly in its position using two lever locks, one for angle locking and one for torch up and down lock.

Cutting Oxygen handling is made very convenient by turning a small lever to the required amount and it imparts a perfect cut to a max thickness of 50mm in its full throttle with a max cutting speed of 450mm/min.

The mounting and dismantling can be done at ease within seconds. The bevel angle can be set precisely using the angle indicator mounted in the torch head. Problem of aligning the mounting chains is avoided through four point landing contacts thereby using the machine in portable mode is easy and to precise.
